Product Overview
The Vishay Semiconductors VO3062 and VO3063 are optocouplers featuring a phototriac output with zero crossing detection. They consist of a GaAs infrared LED coupled to a monolithic photosensitive zero crossing triac detector. With a 600 V blocking voltage, these devices are suitable for controlling off-line voltages up to 240 VAC and 380 V. They offer a high dV/dt immunity of 1500 V/s, low input trigger current, and are available in a 6-pin DIP package. Applications include household appliances, triac and AC motor drives, solenoid/valve controls, office automation, temperature/lighting controls, and switching power supplies.
