Product Overview
The BRT21, BRT22, and BRT23 series are optocouplers featuring an optically coupled GaAs IRLED to a photosensitive thyristor system. They include integrated noise suppression and a zero-crossing circuit, making them ideal for isolating low-voltage logic from high-voltage AC lines (120 VAC, 240 VAC, 380 VAC). These devices offer low trigger currents (1.2 mA), high dV/dt ratios (>10 kV/s), and load voltages up to 800 V, suitable for controlling various AC loads like motors, solenoids, and solid-state relays in industrial controls, office equipment, and consumer appliances.
