VOT8024AM Optocoupler

The VOT8024AM is an optocoupler featuring a GaAs IRLED coupled to a photosensitive zero-crossing TRIAC. Packaged in a space-saving SOP-4 package, it provides isolation between low-voltage logic and AC mains (120 VAC, 240 VAC, 380 VAC). It is designed to control resistive, inductive, or capacitive loads such as motors, solenoids, high-current thyristors/TRIACs, and relays. Key advantages include high static dV/dt, high input sensitivity, and zero voltage crossing detection.
