VISHAY IL420-X009T optocoupler featuring 800 volt blocking voltage and 10 kV per second dVdt for industrial control
Vishay Semiconductors IL420, IL4208 Optocoupler
The IL420 and IL4208 are optocouplers featuring a GaAs IRLED coupled to a photosensitive non-zero crossing TRIAC network. Designed for high dV/dt applications and low input current, these devices isolate low-voltage logic from AC mains voltages up to 380 VAC. They are suitable for controlling various loads including motors, solenoids, high current thyristors, TRIACs, and relays in industrial controls, office equipment, and consumer appliances. Key advantages include high input sensitivity (IFT = 2 mA), high static dV/dt (10 kV/s), and high blocking voltage (up to 800 V).
