The Toshiba TLP2348 is an infrared LED coupled with a high-gain, high-speed photo detector, housed in an SO6 package. It offers signal isolation for intelligent power modules, programmable logic controllers, and high-speed digital interfacing. Key advantages include low supply current (3 mA max) and low threshold input current (1.6 mA max), contributing to energy savings. It can be driven directly from a microcomputer and features an internal Faraday shield for high common-mode transient immunity (30 kV/s min). This is an inverter output version; a buffer output version, the TLP2345, is also available.
