The Toshiba TLP2361 is a high-speed photocoupler featuring a GaAAs infrared LED coupled with a high-gain, high-speed photodetector in an SO6 package. It is designed for applications requiring efficient digital interfacing, such as factory networking and instrumentation. The TLP2361 offers low supply current (1 mA) and low threshold input current (1.6 mA at 125C), contributing to energy savings. Its internal Faraday shield provides a high common-mode transient immunity of 20 kV/s. This device operates at temperatures up to 125C and on supply voltages from 2.7 V to 5.5 V, making it suitable for direct microcomputer interfacing.
