Si8650/51/52/55 Low Power Five-Channel Digital Isolator
Skyworks' ultra-low-power digital isolators are CMOS devices designed to offer significant advantages over legacy isolation technologies. They provide superior data rate, propagation delay, power consumption, size, reliability, and external Bill of Materials (BOM) benefits. These isolators maintain stable operating parameters across wide temperature ranges and throughout their service life, ensuring ease of design and uniform performance. Key features include Schmitt trigger inputs for high noise immunity, support for data rates up to 150 Mbps with propagation delays under 10 ns, and enable inputs for single-point control. Available isolation ratings range from 1.0 kV to 5 kV RMS, with selectable fail-safe modes for default output state during power loss. Products exceeding 1 kVRMS are safety certified by UL, CSA, VDE, and CQC. Wide-body packages support reinforced insulation up to 5 kVRMS. Automotive Grade options are available, manufactured using automotive-specific processes for enhanced robustness and low defectivity.
