Product Overview
Skyworks' Si861x/2x family of ultra-low-power digital isolators are CMOS devices designed to provide substantial advantages in data rate, propagation delay, power consumption, size, reliability, and external Bill of Materials (BOM) over legacy isolation technologies. These isolators maintain stable operating parameters across wide temperature ranges and throughout their service life, ensuring ease of design and uniform performance. Featuring Schmitt trigger inputs for high noise immunity, they only require VDD bypass capacitors. Supporting data rates up to 150 Mbps with propagation delays under 10 ns, these devices offer selectable isolation ratings (2.5, 3.75, and 5 kV) and a fail-safe operating mode to control the default output state during power loss. All devices are safety certified by UL, CSA, VDE, and CQC, with wide-body package options supporting reinforced insulation up to 5 kVRMS. Automotive Grade versions are available, built using automotive-specific manufacturing flows for enhanced robustness and low defectivity.
