Product Overview
The NSi6801 is a single-channel isolated gate driver, pin-compatible with popular opto-coupled gate drivers. It offers a peak source and sink current of 5A and boasts a minimum common-mode transient immunity (CMTI) of 150kV/us. Operating with a maximum supply voltage of 32V, its input circuit emulates LED characteristics but provides superior performance, including enhanced reliability, aging resistance, higher operating temperature tolerance, shorter propagation delay, and reduced pulse width distortion compared to standard opto-isolated gate drivers. This makes the NSi6801 an ideal replacement for opto-isolated drivers in high-reliability, power-dense, and efficient switching power systems.
