Product Overview
The NSi6801 is a single-channel isolated gate driver, pin-compatible with popular opto-coupled gate drivers. It offers 5A peak source and sink current, with a minimum common-mode transient immunity (CMTI) of 150kV/s. Operating with a maximum supply voltage of 32V, its input circuit mimics LEDs but provides enhanced reliability, aging performance, higher operating temperature, shorter propagation delay, and reduced pulse width distortion compared to standard opto-isolated drivers. This makes the NSi6801 an ideal replacement for opto-isolated drivers in high-reliability, power-density, and efficiency switching power systems.
