NOVOSENSE NSI83086E DSWR Full Duplex RS485 Transceiver with Consumption and UL1577 5kVrms Insulation
Product Overview
The NSi83085E and NSi83086E are high-reliability isolated RS-485 transceivers from NOVOSENSE, utilizing digital isolation technology. The NSi83085E is a half-duplex transceiver, while the NSi83086E is a full-duplex transceiver. Both devices offer 5kVrms insulation withstand voltages certified by UL1577, providing high electromagnetic immunity and low emissions with low power consumption. The bus pins are protected from 10kV system-level ESD. Features include fail-safe circuitry for logic-high receiver output on open or shorted inputs, and a 1/8-unit-load receiver input impedance allowing up to 256 transceivers on the bus. The NSi83085E supports data rates up to 12Mbps with slew-rate limiting to reduce EMI, while the NSi83086E supports up to 16Mbps.
