Product Overview
The LTV-333J series is an advanced, intelligent 5.0 A output current IGBT gate driver optocoupler designed for compact and affordable fault protection. It integrates VCE desaturation detection, under-voltage lockout (UVLO), soft IGBT turn-off, isolated open collector fault feedback, and active Miller clamping for enhanced design flexibility and circuit protection. Utilizing an AlGaAs LED optically coupled to an integrated circuit with a power output stage, it is ideal for driving power IGBTs and MOSFETs in motor control inverter applications, capable of directly driving IGBTs up to 1200 V and 150 A, or driving discrete power stages for higher-rated IGBTs. The optocoupler offers an insulation voltage of VIORM = 1414 VPEAK and guarantees operational parameters over a temperature range of -40C to +105C.
