Product Overview
The LITE-ON 6N138-L / 6N139-L series are high gain photocouplers utilizing a light emitter diode and an integrated high gain photodetector. They provide extremely high current transfer ratios with low input current requirements and high output current capabilities. Separate pins for the photodiode and output stage enable TTL-compatible saturation voltage and high-speed operation. The Vcc and Vo terminals can be tied together for conventional photo Darlington operation, and a base access terminal allows for gain bandwidth adjustment. These devices are ideal for digital logic ground isolation, line receivers, and other applications requiring reliable signal isolation.
