LTV-480-H Series Photocoupler
The LTV-480-H series is a fast-speed photocoupler featuring an AlGaAs LED and a photo detector with a built-in Schmitt trigger. This design provides logic-compatible waveforms without requiring additional wave shaping. The totem pole output stage eliminates the need for a pull-up resistor, enabling direct drive of Intelligent Power Modules or gate drives. Its minimized propagation delay difference between devices makes it an excellent solution for improving inverter efficiency by reducing switching dead time. This photocoupler is ideal for IPM interface isolation, isolated IGBT/MOSFET gate drive, AC and brushless DC motor drives, industrial inverters, and general digital isolation.
