The KLM452 and KLM453 are high-speed 1MBit/s transistor photocouplers housed in industry-standard 5-pin SOP packages, suitable for surface mounting. They feature an infrared emitting diode optically coupled to a high-speed photodetector transistor. Independent connections for photodiode bias and output transistor collector enhance speed by reducing base-collector capacitance.
