The ISOMICRON 6N138/6N139 is a high isolation photo coupler designed for reliable signal transmission in demanding electronic applications. Featuring an AlGaAs infrared emitting diode coupled to a high-speed silicon photo darlington transistor, this device offers superior isolation of 5000 VRMS and operates across a wide temperature range of -40C to 100C. Its design minimizes base-collector capacitance, providing significantly improved speed compared to conventional optocouplers. Ideal for low current line receivers, current loop receivers, and interfacing with CMOS-LSTTL-TTL logic, it also serves as an effective pulse transformer replacement.
