The ICPL-3120 is a 2.5A Gate Driver Photo Coupler designed for isolated IGBT/Power MOSFET gate drive applications. It features high isolation of 5000 VRMS, a DC input with a high-speed driver, and a rail-to-rail output. This device is suitable for industrial inverters, AC brushless and DC motor drives, and induction heating systems. It operates within a temperature range of -40 C to 100 C and is REACH & RoHS compliant, with a halogen-free option available. The ICPL-3120 series combines an AlGaAs infrared emitting diode with an integrated circuit and a power output stage in a plastic DIP8 package.
