The ICPL-481 series is a fast-speed photocoupler designed for high common mode rejection. It features an inverter logic type with a totem pole output, eliminating the need for external pull-up resistors and enabling direct drive of Intelligent Power Modules or gate drives. With minimized pulse width distortion and short maximum propagation delays, the ICPL-481 series enhances inverter efficiency by reducing switching dead time. It is suitable for various industrial applications including IPM interface isolation, isolated IGBT/MOSFET gate drive, AC and brushless DC motor drives, and industrial inverters.
