Product Overview
The ICPL3120 is an infrared light-emitting diode optically coupled to an integrated circuit with a power driving output. It is designed to drive Power IGBT and MOSFET devices in motor control inverters and power supplies. With a peak output current capability of 2.5A, it can directly drive IGBT/MOSFETs up to 1200V/100A ratings. For higher-rated IGBTs, the ICPL3120 can be used to drive a discrete power stage that controls the IGBT gate. Key features include high common mode rejection, wide operating voltage range, and under-voltage lock-out (UVLO) protection with hysteresis, ensuring reliable performance across a temperature range of -40C to +105C. This component is lead-free and RoHS compliant.
