The HL3063 series photo couplers feature a GaAs infrared emitting diode optically coupled to a monolithic silicon zero voltage crossing photo triac. They are designed for interface applications with logic systems and discrete power triacs, suitable for solid-state relays, industrial controls, motors, solenoids, and consumer appliances. Key advantages include high input-output isolation voltage (5,000Vrms), high repetitive peak off-state voltage (min. 600V), and a high critical rate of rise of off-state voltage (min. 1000V/s). The operating temperature range is -40 to 110, and the product is RoHS compliant.
