Product Overview
The CMT812X series is a high-performance, dual-channel digital isolator utilizing silicon dioxide (SiO2) insulation technology, capable of supporting isolation voltages up to 5 kVrms. Designed for communication between two different power domains, these isolators prevent noise currents on data buses or other circuits from entering local grounds, thereby protecting sensitive circuitry from interference and damage. The CMT812X offers two channels, with CMT812X1 defaulting to a high output level and CMT812X0 to a low output level. These devices achieve high electromagnetic immunity and low radiation with minimal power consumption, thanks to innovative chip design and layout that significantly enhance EMC performance, meeting system-level requirements for ESD, EFT, surge, and radiation compliance. The CMT812X series is available in SOIC-16 wide body, SOW8L wide body, and SOIC-8 narrow body packages.
