Product Overview
The CMT804X series are high-performance, quad-channel digital isolators utilizing silicon dioxide (SiO2) insulation technology, supporting up to 5 kVrms isolation voltage. These digital isolators facilitate communication between two different power domains, preventing noise currents from entering local grounds or interfering with and damaging sensitive circuits. They feature an enable pin for placing outputs in a high-impedance state in multi-master drive applications, reducing power consumption. The CMT804X offers up to four forward channels and two backward channels. Depending on the model (CMT804X1 defaults to high output, CMT804X0 to low output upon loss of power or signal), these devices achieve high electromagnetic immunity and low radiation with low power consumption through innovative chip design and layout. The series is available in both SOIC-16 wide and narrow body packages.
