These devices consist of a Random Phase Photo Triac optically coupled to a gallium arsenide Infrared-emitting diode, housed in a 6-lead DIP package with various lead forming options. They offer high isolation, a wide temperature range, and are suitable for applications such as motor controls, lamp ballasts, static AC power switches, and solenoid/valve control.
