The KMOC306X Series is a 5-pin ZERO-CROSS TRIAC DRIVER PHOTOCOUPLER from Cosmo Electronics Corp. It consists of a GaAs infrared emitting diode optically coupled to a monolithic silicon detector, designed to drive TRIACs in logic system interfaces for 115/240 VAC powered equipment. This series simplifies logic control of AC power and is ideal for applications such as solid-state relays, industrial controls, motors, solenoids, and consumer appliances.
