Product Overview

The Cosmo KMOC305X Series is a 5-pin random-phase TRIAC driver photocoupler. It comprises a GaAs infrared emitting diode optically coupled to a non-zero-crossing silicon bilateral AC switch (TRIAC). These devices enable the isolation of low-voltage logic from 115/240 VAC lines for random-phase control of high-current TRIACs or thyristors. They offer enhanced static dv/dt capability for stable switching performance with inductive loads.
