The Cosmo KTLP160J series are 4-PIN MINI-FLAT RANDOM-PHASE TRIAC DRIVER PHOTOCOUPLERS. They consist of a GaAs infrared emitting diode optically coupled to a on-zero-crossing silicon bilateral AC switch (TRIAC). These devices provide isolation between low-voltage logic and 115/240 VAC lines for random-phase control of high-current TRIACs or thyristors. They feature enhanced static dv/dt capability for stable switching of inductive loads.
