Product Overview

The HCPL-0700, HCPL-0701, HCNW138, HCNW139, 6N139, and 6N138 are high gain optocouplers designed for efficient current transfer between input and output. These devices utilize a Light Emitting Diode and an integrated high gain photodetector, offering TTL-compatible saturation voltages and high-speed operation. Separate pins for the photodiode and output stage allow for flexible configuration. The 6N139, HCPL-0701, and HCNW139 are optimized for CMOS, LSTTL, or other low-power applications, guaranteeing a minimum 400% current transfer ratio (CTR) over a 0 to 70C range with only 0.5 mA of LED current. The 6N138, HCPL-0700, and HCNW138 are designed for TTL applications, providing a minimum 300% CTR at 1.6 mA LED current. These optocouplers are suitable for applications requiring ground isolation, low input current line reception, high voltage insulation, and status indication in various logic families and line voltage monitoring.
