The Broadcom ACPL-2x4 series comprises AC-input, dual-channel (ACPL-224) and quad-channel (ACPL-244) half-pitch phototransistor optocouplers. These devices feature two light-emitting diodes connected inversely parallel and optically coupled to separate phototransistors, providing robust input-output isolation of 3750 VRMS. With a typical response time of 2 s and a minimum Current Transfer Ratio (CTR) of 20% at 1 mA input current, they are suitable for I/O interfaces in programmable controllers, sequence controllers, system appliances, measuring instruments, and signal transmission between circuits of different potentials and impedances.
