Product Overview
The HCPL-3140/HCPL-0314 family of optocouplers features a GaAsP LED optically coupled to an integrated circuit with a power output stage, making them ideal for driving power IGBTs and MOSFETs in motor control inverter applications. They offer high-speed response, ultra-high common-mode rejection ratio (CMR), and a wide operating temperature range. These optocouplers are suitable for applications such as isolated IGBT/Power MOSFET gate drive, AC and brushless DC motor drives, inverters for home appliances, industrial inverters, and Switch Mode Power Supplies (SMPS). The high operating voltage range of the output stage provides the necessary drive voltages for gate-controlled devices, making them well-suited for directly driving small to medium power IGBTs.
