Product Overview
The HCPL-4701/4731 and HCPL-070A/073A are very low power consumption, high gain single and dual channel optocouplers designed for applications requiring efficient isolation. These devices offer ultra-low input current capability (down to 40 A) and can operate with VCC as low as 1.6 V, making them ideal for battery-operated and other low-power systems. They feature a high current transfer ratio (up to 3500% at IF = 40 A), TTL and CMOS compatible outputs, and specified performance over temperature. Applications include ISDN telephone interfaces, ground isolation between logic families, low input current line receivers, and telephone ring detectors.
