The Broadcom HCPL-4504 series, HCPL-0454, HCPL-J454, and HCNW4504 are high Common Mode Rejection (CMR), high-speed optocouplers designed for demanding applications. These devices feature optically coupled integrated high-gain photodetectors, offering short propagation delays and high Current Transfer Ratio (CTR). They are ideal for IPM inverter dead time and switching problems, line receivers, high-speed logic ground isolation, and as replacements for pulse transformers. The optocouplers provide excellent electrical insulation between input and output, with separate connections for photodiode bias and output-transistor collector enhancing speed.
