The Broadcom ACPL-227 and ACPL-247 are DC-input, multi-channel, half-pitch phototransistor optocouplers designed for reliable signal transmission between circuits of different potentials and impedances. The ACPL-227 features a dual-channel configuration in an 8-pin SO package, while the ACPL-247 offers a quad-channel setup in a 16-pin SO package. Both devices provide high input-output isolation voltage (3750Vrms) and a fast response time (2 s typical). They are suitable for I/O interfaces in programmable controllers, computers, sequence controllers, system appliances, and measuring instruments. These optocouplers are not recommended for military, aerospace, or automotive applications.
