Product Overview
The Broadcom HCNR200/201 is a high-linearity analog optocoupler designed to isolate analog signals with exceptional stability, linearity, bandwidth, and cost-effectiveness. It features a high-performance AlGaAs LED coupled with two closely matched photodiodes. The integrated input photodiode monitors and stabilizes the LED's light output, effectively eliminating nonlinearity and drift. The output photodiode generates a photocurrent linearly proportional to the LED's light output. This design ensures high linearity and stable gain characteristics, making it suitable for a wide range of applications including telecom, industrial process control, SMPS feedback loops, and motor supply voltage monitoring. The HCNR200/201 offers flexibility for operation in various modes, such as unipolar/bipolar, AC/DC, and inverting/non-inverting configurations.
