Product Overview

The Broadcom ACPL-P343 and ACPL-W343 are optocouplers designed for driving power IGBTs and MOSFETs in motor control inverter applications. Featuring an integrated AlGaAs LED and a power output stage, these devices offer a high operating voltage range suitable for gate-controlled devices. They provide high peak output current and drive voltages required for IGBTs up to 1200V/200A, or can drive discrete power stages for higher-rated IGBTs. Key advantages include a rail-to-rail output voltage for optimal IGBT gate drive, high common mode rejection (CMR) for noisy industrial environments, and integrated hysteresis for LED current input to prevent output oscillation. The compact Stretched SO6 package facilitates smaller, more efficient designs.
