Product Overview
The Broadcom HCNR200/201 is a high-linearity analog optocoupler designed for precise analog signal isolation. It features a high-performance AlGaAs LED coupled with two closely matched photodiodes. An integrated input photodiode monitors and stabilizes the LED's light output, effectively eliminating nonlinearity and drift. The output photodiode generates a photocurrent linearly proportional to the LED's stabilized light output. This design ensures high linearity and stable gain characteristics, making it ideal for applications requiring good stability, linearity, bandwidth, and low cost. The HCNR200/201 offers flexibility for various operating modes, including unipolar/bipolar, AC/DC, and inverting/noninverting configurations, providing an excellent solution for analog isolation challenges in telecommunications, industrial process control, SMPS feedback loops, and motor supply monitoring.
