Product Overview
These single-channel diode-transistor optocouplers provide electrical insulation between input and output using an insulating layer between an LED and an integrated photodetector. They offer high-speed operation, up to 1 Mb/s, and are TTL compatible. Separate connections for the photodiode bias and output transistor collector reduce base-collector capacitance, increasing speed significantly compared to conventional phototransistor couplers. Available in 8-Pin DIP, SO-8, and Widebody package configurations, these optocouplers are suitable for various applications including high voltage insulation, video signal isolation, line receivers, feedback elements in switched-mode power supplies, high-speed logic ground isolation, and analog signal ground isolation. They can replace pulse transformers and slow phototransistor isolators.
