The Avago Technologies HCPL-3120, HCPL-J312, and HCNW3120 are high-performance optocouplers designed for driving power IGBTs and MOSFETs in motor control inverter applications. These devices feature an integrated circuit with a power output stage, offering high operating voltage ranges suitable for gate-controlled devices. They are capable of directly driving IGBTs up to 1200 V/100 A, or driving discrete power stages for higher-rated IGBTs. The series provides excellent common mode rejection and under-voltage lockout protection, ensuring reliable operation in demanding industrial environments.
