Broadcom HCPL M611 500E optocoupler with open collector output and RoHS compliant lead free option
Product Overview
The HCPL-M600/01/11 series are single-channel, small outline, high common-mode rejection (CMR), and high-speed logic gate optocouplers. Designed for surface mounting, these devices occupy a compact footprint and are compatible with standard surface mount processes. They combine a GaAsP light-emitting diode with an integrated high-gain photon detector, featuring an open-collector Schottky-clamped transistor output. These optocouplers offer excellent AC and DC circuit isolation while maintaining TTL compatibility and are guaranteed to perform across a wide temperature range (-40C to 85C). Applications include isolated line receivers, simplex/multiplex data transmission, computer-peripheral interfaces, microprocessor system interfaces, digital isolation for A/D and D/A conversion, switching power supplies, instrument input/output isolation, and ground loop elimination.
