Product Overview

The ACPL-C87H is an advanced optically isolated voltage sensor designed for high-precision voltage sensing in demanding electronic power converter applications. Leveraging Sigma-Delta (-) modulation technology, it offers a high gain accuracy of 3% with a unity gain (1 V/V) and an exceptional 1 G input impedance. This sensor is ideal for isolated voltage sensing in AC and servo motor drives, DC-bus voltage sensing in solar and wind turbine inverters, isolated sensor interfaces, and general-purpose signal isolation in data acquisition systems. Its compact, auto-insertable SO-8 package, coupled with robust common-mode transient immunity (15 kV/s), ensures reliable performance in noisy environments. The device features a 0 to 2 V nominal input range, low gain drift of -35 ppm/C, and low offset voltage drift of 21 V/C, making it suitable for power-sensitive applications with its active-high shutdown pin that reduces current to 15 A.
