Product Overview
The Broadcom ACPL-x6xL series are low-power digital optocouplers designed for high-speed logic interface applications. These optocouplers integrate an AlGaAs LED with an advanced integrated photodetector, offering efficient operation with minimal power consumption (maximum 1.3 mA IDD current per channel). With a low forward LED current of 1.6 mA, they are directly drivable by most microprocessors. An internal Faraday shield provides a robust 20 kV/s common-mode transient immunity. Featuring CMOS outputs with controlled slew rates, these optocouplers ensure TTL/CMOS compatibility and guaranteed AC/DC performance across a wide temperature range (40C to +105C) and supply voltages (3.3V and 5V). They are suitable for communication interfaces like RS485, CANBus, and I2C, as well as microprocessor system interfaces and digital isolation for A/D and D/A converters.
