The ACPL-C78A/C780/C784 family of miniature isolation amplifiers are designed for high-precision current sensing in electronic motor drives and general analog signal isolation applications. These devices leverage advanced sigma-delta (-) analog-to-digital converter technology, chopper-stabilized amplifiers, and a fully differential circuit topology to provide exceptional isolation-mode noise rejection, high common-mode transient slew rate immunity (up to 15 kV/s), and excellent accuracy and stability over time and temperature. They are housed in a compact, auto-insertable Stretched SO-8 (SSO-8) package, meeting worldwide regulatory safety standards, making them ideal for high-noise motor control environments requiring accurate monitoring of motor current for smoother control, and for general analog signal isolation under severe noise conditions.
