Product Overview

The HCPL-4701/4731 and HCPL-070A/073A are very low power consumption, high gain single and dual channel optocouplers. Designed for applications requiring ultra-low input current (as low as 40 A) and minimal power consumption (<1 mW typical), these devices are ideal for battery-operated systems, ISDN telephone interfaces, and ground isolation between logic families. They offer high current transfer ratios (up to 3500% at IF = 40 A), TTL and CMOS compatible outputs, and specified performance over a temperature range of 0C to 70C. Available in 8-pin DIP and SOIC-8 footprints, they are compatible with industry-standard parts and suitable for both through-hole and surface mount assembly.
