The Broadcom HCPL-22XX, HCPL-02XX, and HCNW22XX series are optically coupled logic gate optocouplers designed for high-speed logic system isolation. Featuring internal Schmitt triggers for logic-compatible waveforms and robust common mode transient immunity (up to 10 kV/s), these devices eliminate the need for additional wave-shaping. They offer a wide operating VCC range (4.5V to 20V), low input current, and totem pole output stages, ensuring compatibility with TTL, LSTTL, and CMOS logic while minimizing power consumption. Applications include microprocessor system interfaces, ground loop elimination, pulse transformer replacement, and high-speed line receivers.
