The Broadcom ACPL-x2xL series comprises optically coupled logic gates designed for high-speed digital isolation. These optocouplers feature a CMOS output stage and an optical receiver input stage with a built-in Schmitt trigger for logic-compatible waveforms, eliminating the need for external wave-shaping. They offer robust common-mode transient immunity (25 kV/s at 1000V) and operate across an extended temperature range (40C to +105C) with a wide supply voltage range of 2.7V to 5.5V. Ideal for applications requiring low power consumption and high-speed data transfer, such as microprocessor system interfaces, computer peripheral interfaces, and ground loop elimination.
