The Broadcom ACPL-x2xL series comprises optically coupled logic gates designed for reliable digital signal isolation. These devices feature CMOS output stages and integrated Schmitt trigger input stages for logic-compatible waveforms without external shaping. They offer a wide operating supply voltage range (2.7V to 5.5V) and a guaranteed performance over an extended temperature range of 40C to +105C. With high common-mode transient immunity (25 kV/s at 1000V) and various safety and regulatory approvals, these optocouplers are suitable for applications such as microprocessor system interfaces, ground loop elimination, and high-speed line receivers.
