ACPL-x6xL Ultra Low Power 10 MBd Digital CMOS Optocouplers

Product Overview

The Avago ACPL-x6xL series are ultra-low power digital CMOS optocouplers designed for high-speed logic interface applications. These optocouplers integrate an AlGaAs light-emitting diode (LED) with an advanced integrated photodetector, consuming minimal power (1.3mA IDD maximum per channel). With a low forward LED current of 1.6mA, they are directly drivable by most microprocessors. An internal Faraday shield provides a guaranteed common mode transient immunity of 20 kV/s. They operate from 3.3V and 5V supply voltages with guaranteed AC and DC performance over a wide temperature range of -40C to +105C. Suitable for communication interfaces (RS485, CANBus, I2C), microprocessor system interfaces, and digital isolation for A/D and D/A converters.
