The Broadcom ACPL-P343 and ACPL-W343 are optically isolated power output stages designed for driving power IGBTs and MOSFETs in motor control inverter applications. These optocouplers feature an integrated circuit with a power output stage, offering a high operating voltage range suitable for gate-controlled devices. They deliver high peak output current and rail-to-rail output voltage, enabling direct driving of IGBTs up to 1200V/200A or driving discrete power stages for higher-rated IGBTs. Key advantages include high common-mode rejection (CMR), under-voltage lockout (UVLO) protection, and a wide operating temperature range. The ACPL-P343 and ACPL-W343 are housed in a compact Stretched SO6 package, facilitating smaller and more efficient designs.
