ACPL-339J: Advanced 1.0 A Dual-Output Intelligent IGBT and Power MOSFET Gate Drive Optocoupler
The ACPL-339J is an advanced, easy-to-use, intelligent optocoupler designed for driving IGBT and Power MOSFETs. It features 1.0 A dual outputs and supports MOSFET buffers of various current ratings, enabling system engineers to scale gate drive designs for different power ratings without redesigning critical circuit isolation and short-circuit protection. This scalability makes it ideal for motor control and power conversion applications ranging from low to high power. The ACPL-339J integrates an AlGaAs LED optically coupled to an IC with two power output stages, active timing control to prevent cross-conduction, VCE detection, under-voltage lockout (UVLO), 'soft' IGBT turn-off, and isolated open collector fault feedback for enhanced design flexibility and circuit protection. It offers an insulation voltage of VIORM = 1414 Vpeak per IEC/EN/DIN EN 60747-5-5.
