Product Overview
The HCPL-T250 is an optocoupler designed for driving power IGBTs and MOSFETs in motor control inverter applications. It features a GaAs LED optically coupled to an integrated circuit with a power output stage. This optocoupler is ideal for directly driving IGBTs up to 1200 V/25 A, or for driving discrete power stages for higher-rated IGBTs. It offers a high operating voltage range, suitable for the drive voltages required by gate-controlled devices. The device requires a 0.1 F bypass capacitor between pins 5 and 8.
