The Broadcom ACPL-H312/K312 series are high-performance optocouplers designed for driving power IGBTs and MOSFETs in motor control inverter applications. Featuring a GaAsP LED optically coupled to an integrated circuit with a power output stage, these devices provide the necessary drive voltages and current for gate-controlled devices. They are suitable for directly driving IGBTs up to 1200V/100A or for driving discrete power stages for higher-rated IGBTs. Key features include high operating voltage, 2.5A peak output current, excellent Common Mode Rejection (CMR), low output voltage, and Under Voltage Lock-Out (UVLO) protection.
